School started a bit ago, but we managed to find time this past weekend to go visit Brittany in San Diego! San Diego is one of those place that Tammy and I know very little about but are always intrigued by how different it can be depending on where you go.

As many may know, Irvine can be seen as having quite a big Asian influence, well this influence is also very yummy. Tammy and I often visit Diamond Jamboree, or as we call it “The DJ”, to get a taste of the Asian cuisine of Irvine. We cannot resist 85 Bakery and have always wanted to visit some of the other places in the little shopping square, this week we were able to.

Recently, in our day-to-day lives/adventures there have been two new developments: one, being able to enjoy the deliciousness of Kogi for the first time in our lives and two, free advertising for TheDarlingCouple.com!

To keep ourselves busy and to hopefully become somewhat of good cooks, we like to actually make dinner, forget about the whole microwavable and quick oven dishes and cook a real recipe. In case you didn’t know, we basically eat everything and anything from Trader Joe’s, so, lucky for us we stumbled upon a cookbook that uses only ingredients from Joe’s. On this particular occasion, we chose to make “Caper-lovers Chicken and Eggplant.”
We finally got to go to Vegas together now that we are both 21! Tammy drove with her relatives and I all by myself met them at Vegas. The trip lasted 3 days, 2 nights, and here’s the story…
We have been busy going on trips, working, and doing all that summer stuff, I figure its about time that we updated you guys.

We visit LACMA, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, over Easter weekend.
Its spring break! Up in northern California we saw Wicked, visited the Winchester Mystery House, and ate some good good food.
